Chillicothe Police Department Reports Multiple Incidents on September 25

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a variety of incidents across the city on Thursday, September 25, including traffic violations, thefts, criminal trespassing, and non-criminal investigations.

Key incidents reported include:

Pedestrian Incident: At approximately 6:37 a.m., officers responded to 61 N Bridge St. regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. No further details on injuries were released.

Traffic Violations: A semi-truck driver, Kpuzi Krenar, was cited for traveling on a restricted route along S Douglas Ave. after ignoring posted “No Truck Route” signs. Krenar told officers he continued due to GPS directions to reach a nearby Pilot truck stop. He was issued a citation and advised of his court date on October 6, 2025. Additionally, a traffic stop on Yoctangee Parkway near Chestnut St. resulted in a juvenile investigation for driving under suspension and other traffic matters.

Criminal Trespass & Theft Investigations: Police investigated multiple reports of criminal trespass and theft, including incidents at S Walnut St., 2549 Western Ave., 667 E Water St., 580 Church St., and 1049 Columbus St. (“McArthur Gardens”). Investigations are ongoing.

Drug-Related Incidents: Officers responded to a juvenile drug paraphernalia case on Yoctangee Parkway and a report of found drugs at 287 S Paint St.

Warrant Service: Officers executed a warrant at E Main St. / Municipal Court.

Receiving Stolen Property: Police investigated a stolen vehicle report at Goldie Gunlock Park / Consumer Center Dr.

Non-Criminal Assistance: Officers provided assistance for several non-criminal matters at locations including Dun Ave., Cheyenne Dr., and other city addresses.
