CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A semi-truck driver was cited Thursday night, September 25, after police say he ignored a posted no-truck route sign on South Douglas Avenue.

According to a Chillicothe Police report, an officer observed the truck and trailer traveling northbound on Douglas Avenue around 9:43 p.m. The driver stopped briefly at the railroad tracks before continuing past a clearly marked “No Truck Route” sign.

The driver, identified as Kpuzi Krenar, admitted to the officer that he saw the sign but chose to continue following his GPS directions in order to reach the Pilot truck stop.

Krenar was issued citation #56725 under city ordinance 339.02 for driving on a restricted route. He was advised of his upcoming court date on October 6, 2025.
