
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Circleville Police Department handled 52 calls for service on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, ranging from disturbances and traffic issues to thefts and domestic incidents.
- Crashes Reported: Officers responded to several accidents, including an injury crash on U.S. 23 around noon and non-injury crashes on U.S. 23 and West Main Street. Reports were taken in each case.
- Theft & Fraud: A theft was reported on U.S. 23 at 12:54 p.m., and later in the evening, officers took a fraud report from Hayward Avenue.
- Disturbances & Fights: Police investigated multiple disturbances throughout the day, including calls on East Union Street, South Court Street, Lancaster Pike, and East Main Street. A fight was also reported on Clinton Street early Wednesday morning, though no report was taken.
- Domestic Trouble: Officers were dispatched to domestic-related calls on East Union Street and Renick Avenue. One report was taken, while the other did not result in charges.
- Juvenile Complaints: Calls involving juveniles came from Clinton Street, Morris Road, Georgia Road, and East Ohio Street, with one report taken.
- Other Calls: Police served civil paperwork, conducted numerous extra patrols and traffic stops, responded to alarm drops, investigated a suspicious vehicle on Eastwood Drive, and took a report for a violation of a protection order on Plaza Drive.
Circleville Police continue to investigate several of these incidents.
