
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a variety of calls on Saturday, September 13, 2025, ranging from traffic stops and disorderly conduct to missing person investigations and reports of gunfire.
Found Property & Traffic Offenses
- Around 1:41 a.m., officers were dispatched to 1111 E. Main Street for a report of found property.
- At 3:13 a.m., a traffic stop on Safford Avenue resulted in an OVI (operating a vehicle impaired) arrest and a stop sign violation.
- Later in the day, officers cited a driver on Eastern Avenue for operating under an OVI suspension, and another on Columbus Street for multiple violations, including driving under suspension and having an invalid license plate.

Missing Persons & Hit-Skip
- At 8:14 a.m., police were called to McKeller Street about a missing person. That case remains under investigation.
- Around 8:19 a.m., a hit-skip crash was discovered on East Main Street where a vehicle reportedly struck and damaged a light pole before leaving the scene.
Threats & Disorderly Conduct
- A threats complaint was reported at McDonald’s on North Bridge Street at 12:15 p.m., with another threats call later in the day on Star Drive. Both incidents are under investigation.
- At 7:43 p.m., police responded to 626 E. 2nd Street for a fight involving juveniles. One was reportedly cut by another. The case remains open.
Other Reports
- At 9:20 p.m., officers took a report of a possible missing person at the FedEx facility on Gateway Drive.
- Just before midnight, at 11:56 p.m., officers were dispatched to 284 Mechanic Street for a report of shots fired in the area.
In total, police logged 12 incidents on September 13. Several remain under investigation.
