Chillicothe Police Handle Domestic Disputes, Thefts, and Multiple Disorderly Conduct Calls

CHILLICOTHE – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of calls on Thursday, September 11, 2025, ranging from domestic disputes to thefts and protection order violations.

The day began at 2:55 a.m., when officers were dispatched to 386 E. 7th Street on a report of a domestic dispute. Later in the morning, around 11:36 a.m., police investigated a theft complaint at Tiffin Towers on S. Walnut Street.

By 12:31 p.m., officers were called to Hardin Drive on a possible domestic violence complaint. That case remains under investigation. At 3:40 p.m., police responded to a disorderly male at 77 E. Water Street, Suite 206, which led to a criminal trespass investigation.

In the afternoon, a traffic crash at the Duke Duchess Gas Station on Safford Avenue resulted in a failure-to-yield citation; police continue to investigate. Later, at 7:17 p.m., officers were called to 186 Elm Street for a vandalism complaint, followed by a protection order violation at 28 N. Paint Street at 7:45 p.m.

The night saw a string of calls, including a threats complaint tied to a disorderly conduct report at 10 Marlboro Drive around 11:38 p.m. Minutes later, police initiated a citizen contact at Poland Park, which led them into an alley between East 5th and East 4th streets and resulted in a warrant-related case.

Finally, just before midnight, officers responded to Kroger on N. Bridge Street for a behavioral issue that was classified as criminal trespass.

In total, the department recorded 12 incidents throughout the day. Several cases remain under investigation.
