PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH — A man was killed Monday afternoon when the tractor he was driving was struck by a car on Walnut Creek Pike, according to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Walnut Creek Pike and Hagerty Road. Early reports indicate the tractor was hit with such force that it broke in half, throwing the driver from the vehicle.
First responders shut down the roadway for several hours as investigators reconstructed the scene. The Sheriff’s Office has not yet released the identity of the victim, pending notification of family.
The incident remains under investigation.
