
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — September 8, 2025 — Circleville Police officers were kept busy this past weekend, responding to a total of 149 service calls between Friday, September 5, and Sunday, September 7.
The calls ranged from routine extra patrols and business checks to more serious incidents, including multiple burglary reports, domestic disputes, and theft investigations.
Among the more notable incidents:
- Burglary calls were reported on East Mill Street, East Franklin Street, and Walnut Street.
- Domestic incidents led to reports taken on East Mill Street, Clinton Street, West Main Street, and Eva Drive, where one arrest was made.
- Theft investigations were logged on East Main Street, U.S. Route 22 West, and Logan Street.
- Officers also responded to a violation of a protection order on Clark Drive and another on Dunkel Road.
- Several traffic crashes were reported, including an injury accident on South Court Street that resulted in citations.
- Fire crews were requested for mutual aid on Island Road and responded to separate fire calls on East Main Street and Brokaw Avenue.
Throughout the weekend, officers also handled multiple well-being checks, suspicious activity calls, and 911 hang-ups.
Police noted that many of the calls were resolved without incident, but several remain under investigation
