CIRCLEVILLE — Pickaway County has a new option for groceries and household shopping with the opening of a Dollar General Market on Ohio 159.
The store, located at 26929 Ohio 159, expands beyond Dollar General’s traditional layout by offering fresh produce, meats, and other grocery essentials. At 10,640 square feet, it provides a wide selection of everyday items, from household goods to food staples, designed to give eastern Pickaway County residents a convenient, one-stop shopping experience.
The new location is expected to create 10 to 15 jobs, depending on store needs.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, August 23, at 8 a.m. The first 50 adult customers through the doors will receive a $10 Dollar General gift card, and the first 100 will receive a reusable DG tote bag.
This is the latest addition to Dollar General’s expansion in the region. The company previously opened a store in 2022 along the Fairfield-Pickaway County border across from Buckeye Station on State Route 22.
The new Circleville market, positioned between Kingston and Tarlton, adds another convenient stop for residents looking for affordable and quick shopping options in Pickaway County.
