Circleville Police Respond to Trespassing, Harassment, and Juvenile Complaints on August 19

CIRCLEVILLE — The Circleville Police Department logged 39 calls for service on Tuesday, August 19, ranging from extra patrols to reports of threats, property damage, and a traffic accident with injuries.

Overnight & Early Morning:
Officers conducted multiple extra patrols across the city, including on Bolens Avenue, Villa Drive, North Court Street, Stoutsville Pike, and East Franklin Street. At 4:31 a.m., police responded to a “nature unknown” call on Renick Avenue but were unable to locate anything.

Morning Incidents:

Two calls on Eva Drive involved reported threats and a disturbance. Neither resulted in a report.

At 8:58 a.m., police took a report of trespassing and harassment on Highland Avenue.

A juvenile complaint on South Pickaway Street at 11:31 a.m. required a report, as did an injury crash just minutes later on North Pickaway Street.

Officers also documented property damage on Maumee Drive.

Afternoon Calls:

Police handled a fraud case on Eva Drive at 3:34 p.m.

A drunk driver was reported on Hayward Street shortly before 4 p.m., but the suspect was gone when officers arrived.

A traffic stop on Lancaster Pike resulted in a warning.

Officers attempted to locate a subject with a warrant on U.S. 23 South but were unable to find them.

Evening Activity:

Police checked out a suspicious person on Rustic Drive at 6:45 p.m. and later filed a report for a suspicious person on Sumpter Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of a homeless person on Morris Road and a juvenile complaint on East Franklin Street.

Another property damage report was filed on Harrison Street at 9:46 p.m.

The day concluded with additional extra patrols across the city.
