LAURELVILLE, Ohio (Aug. 19, 2025) – One of the nation’s top fall festivals is set to return to the Hocking Hills next month, as the 6th annual Jack Pine Glass Pumpkin Festival kicks off Friday, Sept. 19, through Sunday, Sept. 21.
Recently named one of the Top 10 Best Fall Festivals in the U.S. by USA Today’s 10Best, the free, family-friendly event attracts more than 10,000 visitors each year to the Laurelville studio of world-renowned glass artist Jack Pine. Guests can shop thousands of hand-blown glass pumpkins, explore an outdoor market featuring three dozen regional artists, enjoy live music, and indulge in gourmet food truck favorites from pumpkin ice cream and mini donuts to Schmidt’s brats and smoked lasagna.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Parking is $10 per car, or $5 if reserved in advance online, with a $5 coupon toward pumpkin purchases for those booking ahead at GlassPumpkinFestival.com.
VIP Preview: “One Wicked Night”
The weekend begins with a limited-ticket VIP Preview Party, “One Wicked Night,” on Thursday, Sept. 18. The benefit evening for the Laurelville Food Pantry features a gourmet dinner, live music, silent auction, and first chance at the festival’s most anticipated release – the Pumpkin of the Year. Tickets are $75 and available online, with only 200 available.
Festival Highlights
Visitors can watch Pine’s team of artists blow glass in real time, marvel at world-famous carver Gus Smithister as he transforms a 600-pound pumpkin into an intricate design, and take part in family-friendly activities including mini pumpkin painting and face painting.
Each year’s Pumpkin of the Year is a collector’s centerpiece, with the 2025 edition to be unveiled in the weeks leading up to the festival.
