
Chillicothe police handled 14 incidents on Sunday, August 10, 2025, with multiple arrests, traffic stops, and theft investigations keeping officers busy throughout the day.
The activity began shortly before 1 a.m. when an officer conducted a traffic stop at Rally’s on North Bridge Street, leading to an arrest on a warrant and charges of obstructing official business. Just after 1:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to The Wobbly Ghost on East Main Street following a 911 hang-up. The case was investigated as vandalism and theft without consent.
At 3:25 a.m., a maroon Chevy Impala was pulled over on Akron Street for a traffic violation, with officers noting the driver was under suspension. The investigation is ongoing. Later in the morning, police responded to theft reports at Scioto Woods II on Western Avenue and at the Law Enforcement Complex on Linn Street.
Around 3:09 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Chipotle on St. Andrews Boulevard for a menacing complaint, while another traffic stop on East Main Street at 4:57 p.m. led to a warrant arrest.
A domestic dispute on East Main Street at 5:16 p.m. resulted in a disorderly conduct report, followed by a separate disorderly call on West 7th Street and an offensive gesture/noise complaint on Enderlin Circle.
At 8:41 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a stop bar violation at Columbus and Douglas avenues. Passenger Andrew Evans was found to have an active warrant through Highland County and was taken to the Ross County Jail pending transport.
The final incidents of the night included a call on River Trace Lane and a late-night traffic stop near Watt Street and East 4th Street for a lane change violation. The stop ended at North Brownell and East 2nd Street with a citation issued to the driver and the passenger arrested for obstructing official business.
