The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a report of a possible stabbing at 130 East 4th Street, apartment 3 (rear), on July 17, 2025. According to the initial report, a white male suspect fled the scene on a bike toward Sack-N-Save.
Investigation
Upon arrival, officers found a man, who had been injured and was bleeding from his right forearm/elbow. He reported that he had been attacked by an unknown white bald male who demanded his money and cell phone. The suspect allegedly stabbed or cut his arm with a piece of glass.
The police department searched the area and Officer M. Lee reported finding a suspect matching the description at Poland Park. The suspect, identified as Todd Jacobs, had blood on his leg and hands and was detained.
Evidence and Witness Statements
The police took photos of the mans injuries and the broken window at the scene. A witness, reported seeing a white bald male on a 10-speed bike coming from the house next to hers and riding off toward Sack-N-Save.
The police also collected Jacobs’ belongings and took him to the station for questioning by the detective bureau.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are reviewing the evidence and witness statements to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
