Police Blotter: Chillicothe Officers Respond to Warrants, Thefts, Drug Cases and Disorderly Conduct on July 15

CHILLICOTHE, OH – July 16, 2025
Chillicothe Police responded to a wide range of incidents across the city on Tuesday, July 15, including multiple active warrants, thefts, drug-related investigations, and disorderly conduct calls.


Warrants and Arrests

  • 00:05 AM | N Bridge St – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a red Chevy truck. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant.
  • 12:20 PM | N Rose St – Authorities responded to a complaint and discovered another active warrant.
  • 2:35 PM | N Paint St – Officers went to the Ross County Jail to process a wanted person.
  • 7:41 PM | E Main St & N Mulberry – Tyrone Brown was arrested on a warrant for disorderly conduct. He was booked into the Ross County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on July 16.

Criminal Trespassing & Suspicious Activity

  • 3:34 AM | E 8th St – A suspicious vehicle led to a criminal trespassing investigation.
  • 7:36 AM | Consumer Center Dr – Officers investigated suspected homeless encampments at Goldie Gunlock Park.
  • 3:03 PM | Western Ave (Katz Tire) – Police were dispatched regarding a suspicious person.
  • 8:30 PM | Columbus St – Officers made contact with an individual in a restricted area; the case is ongoing.

Drug & Theft Investigations

  • 11:50 AM | N Paint St – A detective opened a drug trafficking investigation.
  • 6:19 PM | Warner Ave – A traffic stop involving a gray BMW resulted in a case of receiving stolen property, fictitious plates, and driving under suspension.
  • 6:23 PM | N Bridge St (Kroger) – Officers responded to a welfare check involving an intoxicated individual and potential drug concerns.
  • 8:28 AM | N Bridge St (Lowe’s) – Police launched a theft investigation tied to an incident from July 11.
  • 11:50 AM | E 8th St – Tools were reported stolen from a residence.
  • 3:27 PM | E Main St (Dollar General) – A theft by threat was reported.
  • 10:48 AM | Arch St – Officers responded to a call about a missing juvenile labeled as unruly/habitually disobedient.

Disorderly Conduct & Domestic Disputes

  • 12:22 AM | Gabe’s Parking Lot – A disturbance prompted a disorderly conduct call.
  • 2:45 PM | E 4th St – Neighbors clashed over a trash dispute.
  • 8:01 PM | University Dr, Apt 403 – A domestic incident led to another disorderly conduct report.
  • 9:51 PM | Warner Ave – Officers were called to an assault investigation involving fighting or threats.
  • 11:56 PM | Sherman Park – Officers responded to a late-night disorderly complaint.

Traffic Incidents

  • Officers responded to multiple minor traffic offenses throughout the day, including failure to yield and assured clear distance violations on N Bridge St, E Main St, and Delano Ave.
