CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The countdown is on for the 2025 Pickaway County Fair, returning June 14–21 to the Pickaway Agriculture & Event Center with a full slate of family fun, competitions, and community pride.
Among the many highlights is the popular Homemaking Department, where local artisans, bakers, and crafters will compete for top honors across a variety of categories. Entries are open to residents living within a 25-mile radius of Circleville, and submissions will be accepted on Sunday, June 15, from noon to 4 p.m. An exhibitor or membership pass is required to enter.
This year’s homemaking categories include:
- Textile Arts: Quilting, Knitting, Crochet, Embroidery, Home Sewing, and Sewing Machine Crafts
- Creative Crafts: Jewelry, Hobbies and Crafts, Collections, Scrapbooking, and Handcrafted Projects
- Holiday Spirit: Holiday and Seasonal Decorations
- Culinary Arts: Cakes, Pies, Cookies, Breads, and Men’s Baking
- Fine Arts and Floral: Fine Arts and Flower Displays
- Junior Division: A special category for youth 17 and under
“There’s truly something for everyone,” said organizers, echoing this year’s fair theme. “Whether you’re a seasoned quilter, a first-time baker, or a young artist, the fair is your chance to shine.”

Beyond the homemaking displays, fairgoers can look forward to livestock shows, tractor pulls, live music, food vendors, carnival rides, and a variety of theme days throughout the week. Gates will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., drawing crowds from across the region for one of Pickaway County’s most cherished summer traditions.
