CIRCLEVILLE, OH – As engines roar through downtown Circleville this Saturday for the popular “Take Back the Strip” rolling car show, supporters of child advocacy will also be making their voices heard.

Pickaway County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) will be set up near the Old Mill on South Court Street and at the corner by the Savings Bank to collect donations and raise awareness for their mission. The organization is participating in the event as this month’s featured charity partner.

All funds raised will directly support local children in the Pickaway County court system who have been victims of abuse or neglect. CASA/GAL (Guardian Ad Litem) volunteers are trained advocates appointed by the court to represent a child’s best interests. They provide independent insight into each case and help ensure every child has a chance to grow up in a safe, permanent home.

“Take Back the Strip,” a monthly cruise-in featuring classic and custom cars from nearly every era, regularly spotlights a local charity. This month’s event promises a blend of chrome, community, and a cause worth rallying behind.

Organizers encourage residents and visitors alike to enjoy the car show and stop by the CASA tables to learn more or make a contribution.
