AMANDA, OH — Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools has introduced an Anatomage Table to its science curriculum, a cutting-edge tool aimed at enriching STEM education for its students, as announced on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 1:06 PM EDT. The Anatomage Table, a world-leading medical education platform, offers life-size digital representations of real human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, providing an immersive learning experience for students.

Superintendent Timothy Edwards, Ed.D, emphasized the district’s commitment to advancing STEM opportunities, stating, “This innovative anatomy table is an invaluable tool… a world-class resource in our community’s school.” The acquisition was fully funded through three grants: the Pine Grove Grant via the Fairfield County Foundation, the Dr. R.S. Hosler Memorial Educational Fund, and the South Central Power Company Grant, reflecting strong community support for advanced science education.

Cindy Montoney, a science teacher at Amanda-Clearcreek High School, expressed excitement about the table’s potential, noting, “As a biology teacher, I am looking forward to incorporating its visual and interactive components into my lessons… students are more engaged when learning applies directly to them.” The table aligns with the district’s broader STEM initiatives, which include hands-on activities like robotics, computer programming, and engineering projects for K-12 students, with a focus on expanding opportunities for middle and high schoolers.

Serving over 1,500 students with a staff of 200 educational professionals, Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools remains dedicated to fostering lifelong learning and preparing graduates for productive community roles. More information is available at www.amanda.k12.oh.us.
