The crash occurred at approximately 2:48 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the intersection of County Road 16 (Tarlton Road) and County Road 9 (Kingston Pike). According to the Circleville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 69-year-old Gregory Carpenter, was heading westbound on Tarlton Road when it collided with a 2024 Kia Carnival traveling northbound on Kingston Pike.
