CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The town is gearing up for a groovy celebration this Saturday, May 3, as the beloved Mrs. Roper Pub Crawl returns from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants are invited to embrace the flamboyant charm of the iconic character Mrs. Roper while enjoying an afternoon of drinks, prizes, and community fun—all in support of a local cause.
Mrs. Roper is a character from a famous tv show “Three Company,” indelibly embodied by actress Audra Lindley from 1977 to 1984, Helen Roper was a loopy landlady, forever interfering with her tenants, bickering with her husband and pursuing crafts such as macramé and flower arranging.

For $30 per person, attendees will receive access to a variety of drink specials, raffle prizes, and giveaways at participating businesses throughout the downtown Circleville area. Thanks to the city’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), attendees will be able to sip and stroll all day long.

A highlight of the event is the “Best Dressed” contest, where participants can show off their finest Mrs. Roper-inspired attire—think bright caftans, chunky jewelry, and big hair—for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights.
The pub crawl is sponsored by Uptown Circleville and the Circleville Eagles, with all proceeds going toward the Circleville Santa House, ensuring a festive holiday season for the community.
