PICKAWAY – MCORE Foundation is partnering with Pickaway County Community Foundation to offer 2,500 dollar EKG and Echo Screenings for 10 dollars for your children in December.

This rare opportunity can get your student screens in a low cost-effective and convenient manner.

As of June 2021, The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all children be screened for sudden cardiac arrest. This is an amazing opportunity for a student to be screened in a cost-effective and convenient manner. Parents should not miss out on this valuable opportunity!

Why is this important? According to MCORE over the ten years of screening about 5% of students screened have been found to have some unknown cardiac abnormality. This test takes 10-12 minutes only, and healthcare or flex care spending is accepted.

The screening images will be stored for later future use to send to medical providers.

These preventative cardiac screening programs are for ages 12 – 22 years old and consist of both an EKG and limited Echo for only $10 (with a value of $2500) due to these generous donors.

This will be available at  Westfall High School on Friday, December 3, 2021 and Circleville High School on Monday, December 6, 2021.  For only $10 – it’s such an incredible opportunity for parents. The flyers are below
