Thousands Without Power After Storm Blows Through Pickaway County

PICKAWAY – People in North West Pickaway county are experiencing outages all across the area. Thousands in the Mount Sterling, Orient, and Darbydale areas are without power.

60 mile per hour winds has caused trees and power lines down in these areas. According to Pickaway county sheriff, Hafey they are working to remove trees and electric companies are out working on lines to restore power. He told Sciotopost to be careful if traveling in these areas some trees and debris have been found across roadways. If you come across a tree down contact the sheriff’s department.

According to South Central Power around 4,000 people are without power and they are working on getting power restored as soon as possible
