CLEVELAND, OH – A life-changing windfall has officially been claimed in Ohio after the $112 million Mega Millions jackpot from April 18, 2025, was secured by a trust.

The Ironwood Family Trust, represented by trustee James S. Ausse, Esq., stepped forward to claim the massive prize. The winning ticket matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball, securing the full $112 million jackpot.

Opting for the lump sum cash payout, the trust chose the cash option of $56 million. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28%, the final amount awarded to the trust is $40,320,000.

The winning ticket was sold at Giant Eagle, located at 4401 Mayfield Road in South Euclid, further highlighting the growing list of Ohio retailers lucky enough to sell a jackpot-winning ticket.

This marks Ohio’s 21st Mega Millions jackpot winner since joining the national lottery game.

Mega Millions is available in 45 states, plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with drawings held every Tuesday and Friday.
