CIRCLEVILLE – Chalupa, Burrito, and Nacho Fries. Taco bell won the best Mexican restaurant in the US according to The Harris Poll. Nationwide Harris Poll is a independent group that polls over 77,000 people based on Familiarity, Quality and Purchase Consideration, all key factors for growth and name recognition.
According to Harris Poll the changes in popularity with todays consumers has to do with image.
“The EQ study reveals that brand equity is no longer guaranteed by size or media impressions,” says The Harris Poll CEO, John Gerzema. “This is actually a time when being ‘big’ is code for being the establishment. As private label and the popularity of craft products rises, brands are now differentiated on their values, personal connection and their ability to build community,” quote from Harris Poll.

- Five Guys Burger and Fries for best Burger Joint
- Casual Dining was Texas Roadhouse and The Cheesecake Factory (tied)
- Best Chicken was Chick-fil-A
