Vinton County OH- Stolen Four Wheeler Leads To Four Arrest

Vinton County OH- On Thursday, February 20, 2020, the Vinton County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a stolen 4-wheeler and rims from a residence on SR93 north of Hamden. Deputy arrived and spoke with the victim and received the information on the stolen items. An investigation started and information led Deputies to a residence in Duncan Square Trailer Park in McArthur, where the 4-wheeler and rims were sitting in the front yard. Two individuals, Michael Pickett Jr age 31 of McArthur, and Anthony D. Brown age 32 of McArthur, were detained and taken to the Sheriff’s Office. After interviews were conducted, both individuals were placed under arrest.

On Friday, February 21, 2020, two more arrests were made during the follow up investigation in this case. A juvenile was arrested, along with Michael Pickett Sr age 52 of McArthur.

Pickett Sr & Jr, along with Brown, were charged with Receiving Stolen Property and taken to South Eastern Ohio Regional Jail and a bond hearing is scheduled for Tuesday. The juvenile was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Chillicothe. The items were recovered and returned to the owner.
