Vice President Pence says Grocery Stores Will Remain Open, Dewine Says Daycare will Eventually Close

USa – With restaurants, schools, and government offices closing Vice president Pence said during a live press conference today that Grocery stores will stay open.

President Donald Trump told people to try to buy less, that people are causing local shortages only with impulse buying.

Several States are starting to create drive thru testing in parking lots in places such as Wal-mart instead of going to hospitals. Priorities for nurses and first responders for testing to try to keep first responders on the job.

Dewine said during press conference today that Day cares will eventually close, but “to close daycares overnight won’t work, bit its coming.”

Dewine said that parents should try to keep their children home if they can.

“Ive tried to signal that day cares will eventually be closed, but our healthcare systems need to be staffed. We may see healthcare facilities creating their own day cares,” said Dewine.

As of March 15, 2020 Ohio had 37 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 361 people are under investagtion and 140 people have tested negative at this time.

Vice President Pence asks that only people who are symptomatic ask for testing.
