FAIRFIELD – UPDATE: Local Amanda Clearcreek Boosters have updated and confirmed that the earlier accident today involved a student athlete from the school.

Fairfield emergency first responder services are heading to the scene of a two vehicle accident on US-22 and Sandhill rd. the accident occured around 12 noon today.
According to dispatch they have requested a air helicopter but it was declined do to weather. One is entrapped.
Please avoid the area for the next hour as many emergency services are on scene. Sandhill road is currently shut down in the area.
