The United Way of Pickaway County has received a $6,000 grant from the PPG Industries Foundation for 2019 education-based programming.
The PPG Industries Foundation is “committed to giving back to the communities where the company has a presence. Over the years, [they] have donated millions of dollars to organizations that make a positive impact in people’s lives, and [their] employees have dedicated thousands of hours through volunteering” according to ppgcommunities.org.
The United Way supports education-based initiatives in the form of Traditional Scouting, PICCA Head Start Behavioral Supports, the Pickaway County Family YMCA Preschool, Y Club: Before and After School Care, YMCA Summer Fun Club, and School-based mentoring with the South Central Ohio Big Brothers Big Sisters.United Way receives $6,000 grant from PPG Industries
