CIRCLEVILLE – TransCounty Title Celebrated their ten year anniversary with a open house yesterday at the 121 West Main Street Location in Circleville.  In celebration the agency asked the people who came to the open house bring a toy for Toys for Tots.  TransCounty is the largest donation center for the area for the charity and collects year round in the office.

TransCounty Title says they handle about 1,500 titles company wide a year, both commercial and residential.

President Pat John said he started TransCounty Title in Columbus in 2007 to manage central Ohio operations for a major underwriter.  Shortly after starting TransCounty in Columbus John heard that a previous coworker needed a job and decided to hire on Rob Febes.

“The reason I decided to open a branch in Circleville was because of Febes, said John, “he’s Mr. Circleville, he’s involved in the community in many ways by volunteering his time as the Chairman and Trustee of the Circleville Pumpkin Show, He has also volunteered in the Circleville area Soup Kitchen, He’s also a past member of the RoundTown Relayers Team for the Pickaway County Relay For Life and a past Co-Chairman of the Circleville DBA Christmas Parade, and an active participant in the Pickaway County Toys For Tots program. The Circleville location has really been our shining star of the company and I feel its because of the company’s touch with the community. We get lots of walk in traffic in this location that we do not experience in Pataskala or Columbus. Circleville office is the most profitable office and the best at customer service.”

Rob Febes is a Licensed Title Agent, Notary Public and Branch Manager. He’s also a two-term past president of the Circleville Downtown Business Association and a past Campaign Chairman, Real Estate Division of The United Way Pickaway County. He’s a 2009 recipient of the President’s Award from the OFEA Board of Directors and a 2013 inducted member of the OFEA Legion Of Honor.  In 2013 he was named the Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce 2013 Business Person of the Year. He was also elected as Treasurer of the Ohio Festivals and Events Association in 2014.

Joined with Febes in the Circleville location is also longtime associate Robert Roesch II who earned his B.S. degree from Muskingum College and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. From 1981 to 1997. His current and past responsibilities include title underwriting, and commercial and residential transactional counsel. He has spoken for boards of realtors and local realty companies on title and real estate matters. Mr. Roesch is a member of the Columbus Bar Association (Real Property Section) and the Ohio State Bar Association.

“We have enjoyed the ten years in Circleville,” said John, and we hope to do another ten more.”
