FAIRFILED – Top Incidents in Fairfield County this week

Investigative complaint, W Waterloo St. Caller stated they were pulled over by unmarked vehicles and he subjects had guns and vests on. Units arrived and found that the subjects were security guards and bail bonds agents. The suspects thought the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated and wanted to hold the subject until units arrived.
Drunk, Refugee Rd, Intoxicated male began to become verbal and physical inside a Bar. Subject was outside when units arrived and all parties refused any charges for the physical altercation. Subject was found to have a Warrant out of Pennsylvania and was arrested for the warrant.
Theft, W Waterloo Rd, Caller advised that someone had stolen some items out of his car.
Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Meijer Dr, Deputy advised a vehicle was sitting in the middle of the access road at the gas station of Meijer’s. Deputy also advised that a male was sleeping in the vehicle. The vehicle was stolen out of Arizona and the driver admitted to stealing the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property and taken to jail.
Shooting Complaint, ClearCreek Rd, Caller advised that he heard a noise outside. The caller then advised that he took a shotgun out with him to investigate and that he shot himself in the foot. Deputy arrived to secure the scene for the medics. Caller was transported to hospital for medical treatment.
Injury Accident, St. Rt. 188 and Rockmill Rd, A motorcyclist lost control and crashed. He was transported by medics to the Hospital.
Vandalism, County Line Rd, Caller advised her neighbor was mowing yard and rock flew up and broke window on residence.
Larceny, Blue Valley Rd, Caller was contacted by Walmart to advised of possible fraud charges. Multiple fraud charges on this date was found.
July 10, 2019
Paraphernalia, Reynoldsburg Walmart – Deputy observed a suspicious person/car and made contact with a female who was sitting in the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was observed in plain sight. Deputy issued a summons to female for the paraphernalia.
Industrial Accident, Winchester Rd, Male subject was operating a bore drilling machine and it rolled over and trapped him causing major injury to his leg. He was transported to Medical Center.

Theft, Hamburg Rd, Caller wanted to report the theft of their credit card info and two weapons by a known subject.
July 13, 2019
OVI, Springcreek Dr. and Refugee Rd., Deputy conducted a traffic stop and deemed the driver under the influence. He was arrested for OVI and ultimately released to a responsible party.
July 14, 2019
Recovered Stolen Vehicle, Gender Rd, Deputy found a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Las Margaritas. The vehicle was reported stolen from Lancaster Police Department. Lancaster Police Department advised that they would send a tow truck to tow it to their lot to be processed. No one was around the vehicle and no keys were found.
OVI, Blacklick-Eastern Rd at Lancaster-Newark Rd- Deputy advised that he made a traffic stop on a vehicle for no turn signal. Deputy also advised that the Driver was impaired. Driver was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Criminal Damaging, Coonpath Rd. The Caller advised that a relative’s car was damaged by someone throwing a rock and smashing the back-rear window.
Accident with Injuries, Lancaster-Kirkersville Rd. The Caller advised that her son’s vehicle went into a ditch. The son was transported to a Medical Center for treatment. Driver was issued a citation for failure to control.
Non-Injury Accident, Wilsons Ln at Logan-Lancaster Rd, The Caller advised that she ran over a street sign that was in the middle of the road.
Accident, Waterloo St, Vehicle struck pole.
Injury accident, Rockmill Rd, Driver attempted to slow for curve and brake line on the vehicle blew. The occupants decided the best option due to the curve coming up, was to jump out of the vehicle. Driver went into the ditch and the passenger hit her head on the pavement. Passenger was transported to the Hospital.
