NEW YORK – New York Army National guard is reporting that three men who were part of the medical evacuation unit have died when their helicopter crashed.
According to a press release The aircraft was assigned to C Company of the 1st Battalion, 171st General Support Aviation Battalion.
The Helicopter was a UH-60 medical evacuation helicopter based at the Army Aviation Support Facility at Rochester International Airport it crashed in the Town of Mendob, New York on a Training Mission.
The incident is currently under investigation
