The Teays Valley Educational Foundation recently awarded Teays Valley East Middle School school counselor Mary Langenfeld a $180 grant to purchase books that address a range of social-emotional issues teens face, including common issues such as depression and anxiety, as well as more specific issues like self harm and procrastination.
“It’s so amazing to see the dedication the Foundation has to the mental health needs of our students. They have never faltered in supporting me in areas that will benefit the students,” Langenfeld said.
