PICKAWAY – The Teays Valley Educational Foundation awarded a $6,000 grant to Walnut Elementary School fifth grade teachers Ginny Fee, Sarah Malinowski and Jessica VonIns to purchase Chromebooks.
“The fifth grade team at Walnut Elementary would like to thank the Educational Foundation for purchasing new Chromebooks and a Chromebook cart. Having working technology in each classroom allows students to work at their own pace, receive instant feedback and for teachers to differentiate instruction for students,” VonIns said. “Students will be using their chromebooks to write essays, read articles, research topics, practice math, do science experiments and other educational activities. Thank you for supporting our students in the classroom to be life-long learners.”
