US – T-Mobile reports that customer information was accessed in a data breach recently, that breach exposed some private information.
In a statement on the mobile provider’s website, T-Mobile says that “call-related information” was taken during the Hack, but “The data accessed did not include names on the account, physical or email addresses, financial data, credit card information, social security numbers, tax ID, passwords, or PINs.”
The breach could have accessed, “phone number, number of lines subscribed to on your account and, in some cases, call-related information collected as part of the normal operation of your wireless service.”
T-Mobile said the cybersecurity team immediately started a investigation and contacted federal law enforcement
