South Bloomfield Responds to Water Quality Complaints

SOUHT BLOOMFILED – Earlier today a facebook post from Christina Wallace and a complaint to the office made the Village water company react to see what the issue with the water was.

In her post she complained about the color of the water and said she contacted the village.

The water department reacted quickly according to Wallace and came to her home and tested it, then started a investigation. According to a report from the village a brine pump failed that softens the villages water sometime during the holiday and no errors tripped the computer that is supposed to monitor that item. The Village says that a new pump will be installed on Friday January 3rd.

The village says that the water is safe still, the than additional hardness and coloration. Heres the release.
