Scioto County Sheriff Seize Guns and Drugs from Home

SCIOTO – Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini and Interim Portsmouth Police Chief Debby Brewer announce that two men have been arrested for a weapon offense in Portsmouth.

On January 6, 2020 at approximately 2:50p.m., officers with the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force along with members of Portsmouth P.D. Swat and a Portsmouth P.D. Canine assisted the Portsmouth Municipal Court Probation Department with a visit of the apartment of probationer, 44 year old Stacy Ann Young, located at 2409 C 17th St. Portsmouth, Ohio. Young also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest that had been issued by Portsmouth Municipal Court.

Young was apprehended and during a search of her apartment officers seized (3) handguns, over $4,000 cash, digital scales, approximately twelve grams of suspected crystal meth and nineteen grams of an unknown powder.

56 year old Troy Samuels of 14th St. Portsmouth, Ohio and 42 year old Corey Demetrius Pullings of Dayton, Ohio were arrested and charged with Having a Weapon While Under Disability, a felony of the 3rd degree. 45 year old Rebecca Donnelle Dennison of Wayne Ave. Portsmouth was also arrested on an outstanding warrant that had been issued by Portsmouth Municipal Court. Three other individuals were present inside the apartment.
All arrestees were placed in the Scioto County Jail and were to be arraigned on Tuesday, January 7, 2019 in Portsmouth Municipal Court at 9a.m.

The case is continuing to be investigated by task force personnel and will eventually be forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office to be presented to a Scioto County Grand Jury for the consideration of additional felony charges. Additional individuals could be indicted in the case.
