Ross Sheriff Arrests Pike County Shooting Subject

Pike – A wanted man for an armed robbery and possibly driving a stolen vehicle with a shotgun was apprehended nearly 24 hours after fleeing. Police considered him armed and dangerous.

According to Sheriffs office, Beakman was wanted for a robbery where he is accused of shooting a man earlier yesterday afternoon in Pike county. The victim was shot and flown to Columbus Hospitals in serious condition. No update on that mans condition was available today.

Authorities credit tips from the Frankfort Community for information that lead to the arrest.

“My office was able to take 48 year old Terry C. Beakman of Pike County into custody this morning near Brad Lightle Park in Frankfort. Mr. Beakman was the shooting suspect out of Pike County. He was transported back to Pike County to face charges.
