ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, LOUSIANA – According to the Parish Coroner Christy Montegut in a statement made to the New Orleans Advocate, a woman may have died from the first recorded instance of a THC overdose.

As per the coroner: ““It looked like it was all THC because her autopsy showed no physical disease or afflictions that were the cause of death. There was nothing else identified in the toxicology — no other drugs, no alcohol,”. According to the toxocology report, the 39 year old deceased female had 8.4 nanograms of THC per milliliter in her blood – which was delivered via a concentrated TCH oil delivered from a vaping device.

However, some are doubting the validity of the THC overdose, as Keith Humphreys, a former White House Senior Policy Advisor was quoted as saying that if THC levels as high as observed in the woman’s death were fatal, more deaths would have been observed prior to this potential worlds-first case.
