MINNISOTA – A Orono police officer went above and beyond for a citizen in need last week.
According to the facebook post Officer Matt Siltala was called to a elderly womans home on a welfare check on Thursday. She checked out ok but the officer then inquired on why her yard was so unkept.
She replied, “I have a mower but, I do not have anyone to mow for me.”
The officer wasted no time and grabbed the mower and took care of the lawn for her. After the photo and story went viral multiple people on the post said they would like to step up and help the elderly woman with things she needs around the home.
