Sandra Elaine “Charley” (Yates) Buckta, 61, of Circleville, died suddenly Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, as a result of a car accident.
She was born March 20, 1954, in Columbus.
She was a caring woman who always put her family and friends first. She was very patriotic and enjoyed serving veterans. Sandra was a member of AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Post #2256 and Fraternal Order of Eagles #685. Sandra enjoyed playing online poker, reading and puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Bette Yates.
She is survived by children, Ernest L. “Ernie” (fiancée Megan Isaac) Buckta III and Becky (Joey) Herron; and her only grandson, her pride and joy, Vincent Ridings; father, James H. Yates Sr.; siblings, James H. “Jim” Yates Jr. and Kenny (fiancée Lisa Schroyer) Yates; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 East Main St., Circleville, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow at Radcliff Cemetery, Radcliff, Ohio.
