Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Carlos O. Banks, 40, of Tenny Road, Mt. Sterling, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He was sentenced to 16 months in state prison at Orient.

– Jacob C. Conner, 23, of Hayward Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to assault and harassment by an inmate. A pretrial hearing is set for Oct. 9.

– Samantha J. Curtis, 31, of West High Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to burglary and petty theft. She was sentenced to four years in state prison at Marysville and $800 in restitution.

– Jessica Elliot, 26, of Washington Court House, pleaded guilty to three counts of theft of drugs. She was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Harry A. Green, 67, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property. A pretrial hearing is set for Oct. 9.

Bryan S. Greeno, 31, of East Franklin Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for Oct. 9.

– Josh M. Griffith, 31, of Detroiter Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to forgery. He was sentenced to six months in state prison at Orient and $250 in restitution.

– Matthew Kellough, 32, an inmate at the Pickaway County Jail, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He was sentenced to 11 months in state prison at Orient.

– Alana M. Moore, 30, of South Scioto Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail.

Jamie D. Neff, 34, of West Franklin Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient.

– Michael T. Palm, 25, of state Route 104, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to importuning. A pretrial hearing is set for Oct. 9.

– Kathy A. Shull, 44, of East Mound Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to two counts of forgery. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

Kim F. Smith, 49, of Lawnwood Drive, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine. A pretrial hearing is set for Oct. 9.

– Ernest J. Thomas, 56, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Marilyn Y. Whatley, 36, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to theft. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
