Grade K-5 category first place: Aron Lee

In conjunction with the Autumn Arts and Crafts Fair held Sept. 12 in downtown Circleville, the Downtown Business Association sponsored a sidewalk chalk contest. The winners were chosen by judges Steve Lust of Kiwanis, Nicole Mitchell of The Mitchell House Bed and Breakfast and Jenny Rhoads of Roundtown Players.

Participants were encouraged to celebrate what makes Circleville a wonderful place to live.

Louisa Heyer took the award for Best in Show for her entry that included tributes to the Octagon House, Ted Lewis, Wittich’s Candy and the Circleville Pumpkin Show.

Winners in the business category were Ashlee Dickson in first place for Manchester Hill Winery and Maria Polacek in second place for Inspirations.

In the category for students grade K-5, Aron Lee took the first place honors, and in the family category, first place went to Rylee Benner.

The contest was also sponsored by the City of Circleville and Pickaway Progress Partnership (P3).
