All pregnant women in Pickaway County are invited to attend a Community Baby Shower at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Pickaway County District Public Library, 1160 N. Court Street, Circleville.
The event is free and will feature a light refreshments, giveaways, health fair information, games and door prizes.
The Community Baby Shower is sponsored by the Early Childhood Coordinating Committee of the Family and Children First Council.
Agencies donating to the event are Help Me Grow, Pickaway County District Public Library, OSU Extension, Early Head Start, Board of DD, Berger Health System, Haven House, Head Start, Literacy Council, Job & Family Services, Elizabeth’s Hope Pregnancy Resource Center, WIC and Molina Healthcare of Ohio.
“All the giveaways and door prizes are valuable items for the baby or expectant mother,” said Michelle Callahan, public relations/outreach services coordinator with the Pickaway County District Public Library, who is helping plan the shower.
One support person is welcome to attend with the expectant mother. This is the 11th year for the Community Baby Shower in Pickaway County.
