Charles Fredrick Fithian, 70, of Circleville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015.
He was born Aug. 2, 1945, in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, to George S. and Eldora (Kalp) Fithian.
His parents preceded him in death.
Charles, a Vietnam Air Force veteran, is survived by his daughter, Denise (Phil) McEachin; grandchildren, Eric and Sierra; sister, Claire (Mike) O’Dell; caregivers, Amy and Rob Burnside, Pearlie and Ray Armentrout, Vesta and Jim Bailey, Rhonda and Dave Mace and Danielle and Matt Horn. He was loved by many friends and roommates at Howards Care Home, where he resided for more than 20 years.
In the time he was there, he watched many children grow up, including David and James Mace, Aaron and Amber Burnside and Ashley and James Bailey.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery with full military honors being bestowed at the grave by AMVETS. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
