July 30

– A caller reported a known employee at Rax on U.S. Route 23 had been changing amounts on customers and keeping the difference. A report was taken on theft.

– Viola M. Seymour, 32, of Laurelville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– A resident in the 1500 block of state Route 674, Ashville, reported he found three individuals on his property working on the cable without permission and filed a trespassing complaint.

– A caller reported a known subject reached into his vehicle on Spangler Road in Circleville and punched him several times. A report was taken on assault.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on East Front Street in New Holland.

– A deputy responded to reports of a possible theft in the 1400 block of Circleville Plaza Drive.

– A resident in the 9000 block of Scioto Darby Road, Commercial Point, reported a dog bite.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 2000 block of Weigand Road, Ashville.

– A caller reported a dog and cat injured in the 14000 block of Winchester Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person at Main and Scioto streets in Commercial Point.

July 31

– A resident in the 15000 block of Call Road, Mt. Sterling, reported a known subject threatened to harm them. A report was taken on threats.

– A resident in the 500 block of Yates Street, Williamsport, reported he thought he heard someone inside the residence, and when he looked outside, his truck door was open. A report was taken on trespassing.

– A caller reported an unknown person ran their vehicle through a corn field on the south side of state Route 56, causing crop damage. A report was taken.

– A deputy responded to reports of an assault in the 200 block of South East Street, New Holland. Due to conflicting stories, all parties were referred to the city law director.

– A resident reported he left his wallet next to the ATM machine in the 100 block of Mill Street, Williamsport, and when he returned for it, it was missing. A report was taken on theft.

– Jonathan Sparks, 44, of Circleville, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication in the 2000 block of Arapaho Drive.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 12000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 15000 block of Mowery Road, Laurelville. The property was taken for safekeeping.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 1400 block of South Court Street, Circleville. The property was released to its owner.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 100 block of Island Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of telephone harassment in the 15000 block of Call Road, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to reports of suspicious activity in the 1400 block of South Court Street, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 9000 block of McCord Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 24000 block of Mouser Road, New Holland.

– Terra Isaac, 20, of Beaver, advised she was traveling westbound on Kingston Adelphi Road when she saw a deer standing in the roadway. She then traveled off the road to avoid the animal and went into a ditch. No injuries were reported.

– Harry Kage, 49, of Columbus, advised he was traveling northbound on U.S. Route 23 when his right front tire blew out, causing him to go off the roadway, strike a guardrail and roll over. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Scott Gray, 18, of Circleville, was cited for failure to yield when he struck a vehicle driven by Misty Urton, 48, of Jamestown, on U.S. Route 22. No injuries were reported.

– Jessica Inmon, 30, of Commercial Point, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident after she reportedly struck a vehicle driven by Matt Hastings, 48, of Commercial Point, on Welch Road. Subjects were treated for injuries.

August 1

– An employee at Connie’s Country Kitchen, 410 Mill St., Williamsport, reported an unknown subject tried to break into the restaurant and caused damage to the door. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 23000 block of Ringgold Southern Road, Stoutsville, reported an unknown person did donuts in his yard, causing sod damage. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 23000 block of Ringgold Southern Road, Stoutsville, reported an unknown person stole his mailbox and post. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 7000 block of Old Tarlton Pike reported an unknown person did donuts in her yard, causing damage to the sod. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 29000 block of Jackson Road, Kingston, reported she has been receiving unwanted phone calls from a number in Florida for five months. A report was taken on telephone harassment.

– A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– Charles E. Kuhn III, 24, of Circleville, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication in the 1000 block of state Route 56 East, Circleville.

– A resident in the 200 block of East Street, Ashville, reported having problems with a 16-year-old male in his custody. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– An employee at Power Equipment Parts Inc. on U.S. Route 23 reported an unknown person rammed the front doors of the business with their vehicle and stole six chain saws. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Ballard Road, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 20000 block of Five Points Pike, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 25000 block of state Route 159, Tarlton.

– A deputy responded to an unruly juvenile in the 600 block of Swackhammer Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a property complaint on state Route 316 at the Scioto River, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a vehicle in the 11000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient.

– Julie A. Leach was arrested on two capias from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for failure to appear on the charge of illegal conveyance of drugs.

August 2

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 13000 block of Tenny Road, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 17000 block of Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to state Route 316 at the Scioto River in Ashville on a report of found property. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 29000 block of U.S. Route 23.

– A deputy responded to reports of a fight on Mill Street in Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 17000 block of Little Walnut Road, Circleville.

– Dan Paxton, 51, of Kingston, advised he was backing his vehicle up at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds and struck a vehicle owned by the city of Circleville.

– Jesse Campfield, 27, of Circleville, was cited for driving under suspension when he was traveling westbound on U.S. Route 22 nd the frame on the left front side of his vehicle snapped, causing him to strike a vehicle driven by Richard Dunmire, 62, of Amanda. Subjects were treated for injuries.

August 3

– A resident in the 100 block of West Front Street, New Holland, reported someone entered her garage and stole a rabbit. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A caller in the 10000 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne, reported an unknown person shot out an exterior window and sliding glass door of an abandoned residence with a BB gun. A report was taken on criminal damage.

– A resident in the 600 block of Swackhammer Road reported someone stole items from his garage. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 9000 block of U.S. Route 22 reported someone stole a gun from his residence. A report was taken on burglary.

– An employee of the Goody Nook on U.S. Route 22 reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 5000 block of Bell Station Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 9000 block of Welch Road, Orient.

– Dustee Plum, 40, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling eastbound on U.S. Route 22. No injuries were reported.

– Leslie Whitaker, 45, of Laurelville, struck a deer while traveling westbound on state Route 56. No injuries were reported.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 5000 block of Bell Station Road, Circleville.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 11000 block of London Road, Derby.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 8000 block of Larkspur Drive, Orient.

– Linda Wiley, 70, of Kingston, advised she was traveling westbound on Hayesville Road when she went off the left side of the roadway into a ditch. No injuries were reported.

– Bo T. Cross, 29, of Circleville, was arrested on a capias from the Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for a probation violation on two counts of permitting drug abuse.

– Brett J. Barber, 35, of Orient, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on a domestic violence charge.

– Allee Sun Toles, 36, of Mt. Sterling, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the charge of driving without consent.

– James R. Foraker, 34, of Circleville, was arrested on indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for theft.

– Nelson G. Milliken Jr., 44, of Frankfort, was arrested on indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

August 4

– A caller reported someone broke the window of his vehicle and took cash in the 9300 block of Intermodal Drive, Lockbourne. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 30 block of Church Street, New Holland, reported someone took her dog from her yard. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller reported an unknown person drove an ATV through a corn field on Madison Walnut Road, Ashville, and destroyed several bushels of corn. A report was taken.

– An employee of Logan Elm High School reported an unknown person wrote on two of the entry doors at the high school. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 25000 block of state Route 159 reported an unknown person took medication from his residence. A report was taken on theft.

– Joe D. Spencer, 34, of Chillicothe, was arrested for theft and resisting arrest at Walmart.

– A resident in the 2600 block of Kingston Pike reported receiving threats from a female regarding warranty work. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 9500 block of Perrill Road, Canal Winchester, reported damage to silos. The victim stated he paid two people to paint, and they did a terrible job.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 10600 block of Ashville Pike, Lockbourne.

– A deputy responded to reports of a vehicle partially in the roadway on Commercial Point Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 8000 block of Larkspur Drive, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on School Street in Williamsport.

– The canine unit Turpin was requested for a free air narcotics search during a traffic stop by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on U.S. Route 23 near Sperry Drive. The canine indicated on the driver’s side door.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 600 block of South Water Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a tractor on Long Street in Ashville. Fletcher’s Towing towed the tractor to their lot until ownership could be determined.

– A deputy responded to an unruly juvenile in the 9000 block of Jonquil Drive, Orient.

– A 16-year-old female from Orient advised she was traveling eastbound on Mattox Circle when she went off the left side of the roadway, running over a mailbox and tree.
