– Officers performed a well-being check on a subject in the 500 block of Renick Avenue whom his ex-wife reported was making suicidal threats. The male denied any threats, and was advised to have no further contact with the female.

– Officers confiscated the license plates of a vehicle on behalf of the registrar during a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Main Street.

– A resident in the 500 block of Gumm Place reported someone poured peanut butter and powdered sugar on her vehicle as well as several others in the lot. Door hangers were left for the vehicle owners who could not be contacted, and a report was taken on criminal damage.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Roosters on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

– A Stoutsville resident came to the police station to request a stand-by in the 1200 block of Turner Drive to retrieve an abandoned dog from a rental property. A message was left for the humane officer, but the dog warden was contacted and responded to the scene. The dog warden took possession of the dog, which exited through an open window.

– Officers responded to a nuisance complaint in the 100 block of East Mill Street after a resident came to the police station to report a residence with high grass and weeds and a tree down in the yard. He stated he had also been advised the kitchen floor was waterlogged, there was mold under the house and the plumbing was backed up. A report was taken.

– An officer was advised of a counterfeit bill at Arby’s on U.S. Route 23. A report was taken.

– A 911 caller reported a known male subject was causing problems at a residence in the 300 block of Town Street. A report was taken on criminal mischief.

– A resident in the 200 block of North Washington Street reported a known female subject was on her property harassing her son. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– An officer was flagged down by a resident in the area of West Mound Street to report a runaway juvenile. A report was taken.

– Two juveniles reported as runaways were located at the hair salon at Walmart. They were removed from the LEADS system, and charges were filed.

– A resident in the 400 block of Stella Avenue reported he believed he found his stolen bicycle but it had been altered. A supplemental report was taken.

– Officers performed a stand-by in the 300 block of East Mound Street while a property owner served an eviction notice.

– A resident in the 300 block of Logan Street reported a hotrodder in the area. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 100 block of Lewis Avenue in which the male caller sounded intoxicated. A report was taken on drug paraphernalia.

– A resident in the 700 block of East Mound Street reported her granddaughter was receiving nude pictures from an unknown number. The caller was advised to have the number blocked.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a driver’s license she found at Speedway on Lancaster Pike. A report was taken on found property.

– Roger R. Speakman Jr. was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 900 block of Clinton Street after a caller reported a domestic dispute in the area.

– A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Pickaway and Main streets. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A resident in the 100 block of Hayward Street requested an officer speak to her 15-year-old son who was being unruly. A report was taken.

– An officer located an open cellar door on the side of the High Court Cafe on North Court Street. No one was located inside, and the scene checked OK. A door hanger was left at the business.

– An employee at Tim Hortons on U.S. Route 23 reported a suspicious male in the parking lot. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
