July 1

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute on state Route 762 East at Rickenbacker Parkway, Lockbourne. The other party left prior to the deputy’s arrival.

– The canine Marko was requested to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a free air narcotic search at a traffic stop on state Route 207, New Holland. Evidence of drug use was found in the vehicle.

July 2

– A resident in the 1300 block of South Pickaway Street, Circleville, reported the theft of a lawn mower, weed eater, gas can and two ranges. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 13000 block of Judas Road, New Holland, reported someone stole a generator and pressure washer. A report was taken on breaking and entering and theft.

– Cierra B. Allen, 25, of Circleville, was arrested at Walmart for theft.

– An employee at Walmart reported a theft. A summons will be issued for the suspect.

– A resident in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue, Circleville, reported someone stole a safe from the residence. A report was taken on burglary and theft.

– A deputy responded to reports of an open burn and burning of unauthorized items in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient. The Scioto Township Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire, and the subject was educated on the burning of items.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 1400 block of Circleville Plaza.

– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 14000 block of Oak Street, Derby.

– Christopher O. Clark, 27, was arrested for a violation of probation on the original charge of trafficking in marijuana.

– Kyle M. Harkness, 24, was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.

July 3

– A resident in the 5000 block of St. Paul Road, Ashville, reported an assault. The victim refused treatment and charges.

– Timothy A. Gaines, 39, of Circleville, was arrested for disorderly conduct at Walmart.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 26000 block of Shoemaker Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 25000 block of Moccasin Road, Laurelville.

– A deputy responded to reports of a missing kayak at Big Darby Creek, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of an animal bite in the 10000 block of Winchester Road, Ashville. The victim was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus by Bloom Township medics prior to the deputy arriving on the scene.

– Curtis Smith, 74, of Circleville, advised he was traveling southbound on the ramp at U.S. Route 23 and struck something in the roadway that caused him to lose control of his vehicle and strike a guardrail. No injuries were reported.

– Leroy Heft, 45, of Circleville, was traveling northbound on Island Road and advised his vehicle went off the roadway and down into a steep embankment. Subjects were treated for injuries.

July 4

– A resident on North East Street, New Holland, reported a known male took a vehicle from her driveway. A report was taken on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 8000 block of Perrill Road, Ashville. The subject was identified and transported by a family member.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 4000 block of Anderson Road, Circleville. The subject left the residence when the deputy arrived.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville. The subjects were identified, and the scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to reports of horses on the loose on Creamer Road and U.S. Route 62, Orient. The horses were taken to an area farm for temporary fostering.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 10000 block of Hayesville Road, Kingston. The argument was verbal, and no assault took place.

– Naga Ashok Kuma, 29, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, reported he was traveling northbound on U.S. Route 23 and struck and killed a dog that ran into his path. No other injuries were reported.

– Joseph R. Hensley, 30, was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of OVI.

July 5

– Deputies responded to reports of an assault at Deer Creek State Park, Mt. Sterling. The victim was referred to the city law director to file charges.

– A resident in the 10000 block of Darby Creek Road, Orient, reported criminal trespassing and theft. The victim was referred to the city law director to file charges.

– A resident in the 13000 block of London Road, Orient, reported an unknown person entered the residence, as well as the attached and detaches garages, and stole several items.

– A resident in the 6000 block of Dawnlight Circle North, Orient, reported an unruly juvenile. No charges were filed.

– A deputy responded to a neighbor dispute in the 2000 block of Shawnee Trail, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of damage from fireworks in the 24000 block of Huber Hitler Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 2000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, Circleville.

– Amy M. Hoylman, 36, was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.

– Andrea J. Gray-Waterbury, 31, was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of driving without an operator’s license.

– A 16-year-old Laurelville female was traveling westbound on state Route 56 and went left of center, striking a motorcycle head on. The driver of the motorcycle, William McIntyre, 56, was killed in the crash.

July 6

– A resident in the 2000 block of state Route 752, Ashville, reported someone used his ATM card to withdraw money from his bank account. A report was taken on theft by deception from the elderly.

– A resident in the 100 block of Island Road, Circleville, reported someone pried open the back door and damaged the lock and door jamb. A report was taken on criminal trespassing and criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, New Holland, reported known subjects entered the property and took items. A report was taken on burglary and theft.

– A resident in the 300 block of Cherokee Lane, Circleville, reported someone has been getting into her mailbox and removing mail. A report was taken on theft.

– Deputies responded to reports of an assault in the 17000 block of Lockbourne Eastern Road, Ashville. Both parties were advised to stay away from each other. No charges were filed.

– A deputy responded to reports of a missing trailer tag in the 500 block of Maple View Lane, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to reports of threats in the 2000 block of Kingston Pike, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to complaints of harassment in the 5000 block of Freedom Run Road, Orient.

– Joshua Griffith, 30, was arrested for non-support of dependents.

– A resident in the 3000 block of Miller Road, Ashville, reported a purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 14000 block of London Road, Orient, reported someone stole her purse from inside her home. A report was taken on theft.

– Thomas Calton, 19, of Laurelville, was stopped at the stop sign on Tarlton Road at state Route 56, then proceeded into the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by Angela Eveland, 38, of Stoutsville. No injuries were reported.

– An unknown driver struck a parked vehicle owned by Dale Riddle of Laurelville and then left the scene on state Route 56.

– A vehicle driven by Morgan Chasteen, 16, of Circleville, went off the roadway into a ditch, striking three trees on Cromley Road. Subjects were treated for injuries.

July 7

– A resident in the 11000 block of Clifton Road, Mt. Sterling, reported the theft of medication.

– A resident in the 9000 block of Strawser Street, Orient, reported firearms being discharged from a vehicle. The described vehicle was not located.

Matthew G. Halley, 36, of Columbus, was arrested for breaking and entering, theft, failure to comply and receiving stolen property for an incident in the 11000 block of Matville Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of an assault in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville. The victim had no visible injuries and refused medical treatment. The victim was referred to the city law director for charges.

– Michael B. Rich, 43, of Circleville, was arrested for assault in the 1000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, Circleville.

– Keith A. Giffin, 40, of Westerville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– A deputy responded to reports of menacing in the 10000 block of Lockbourne Eastern Road, Ashville. The victim was referred to the city law director for possible menacing charges.

– A deputy responded to Game Stop on Circleville Plaza Drive for a report of receiving stolen property. No charges were filed.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a juvenile on Water Street in Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to reports of an ill female in the 1000 block of Lancaster Pike, Circleville. The victim was transported to the hospital by Clearcreek Township EMS.

– A deputy responded to reports of telephone harassment in the 500 block of Yates Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 2000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, Circleville. Contact was made with the owner, and the scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient. Upon speaking with both parties, the deputy advised the scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 29000 block of U.S. Route 23 South, Circleville. Upon speaking with both parties, the deputy advised the scene checked OK.

– Dylan Wamsley, 18, of Stoutsville, advised he ran off the roadway on Stoutsville Pike, striking a driveway culvert and a utility pole. No injuries were reported.

– Anne Pennell, 30, of Blacklick, was traveling on U.S. Route 23 and struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

– Lana Wells, 66, of Ashville, advised she was traveling southbound on Walnut Creek Pike and went off the roadway, striking a utility pole. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Gary Mosley, 39, of Ashville, advised he was driving southbound on U.S. Route 23 and the left front wheel came off his vehicle. The wheel was struck by Hersel Sluss, 60, of Hillsboro, knocking it into the left lane where it was then struck by David Cameron, 53, of Oregon, Ohio. No injuries were reported.

– Brian Keith Muncy, 40, was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of menacing.

– Loretta Bowen, 43, was arrested for a violation of probation for the original charge of OVI and failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.

July 8

– Joshua F. Balsimo, 28, of Groveport, was arrested for disorderly conduct and driving under suspension on U.S. Route 23 North at milepost 12.

– An employee at Walmart reported a theft, but the suspects left the store prior to the deputy’s arrival.

– A deputy took a report on possible identity theft in the 6000 block of state Route 56 East, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of domestic violence and theft in the 9000 block of state Route 104, Lockbourne. The subject left prior to the deputy’s arrival.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property on Hall Road near Yankeetown Pike, Williamsport. The property was released to its owner.

– A deputy responded to complaints on a person in the 13000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to reports of an accidental shooting in the 8000 block of U.S. Route 22 East, Circleville, in which a bullet went through the victim’s right foot.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 17000 block of Cromley Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to reports of a person shooting a gun in the 7000 block of High Street, Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of a person shining a green laser light in the area of state Route 762 and Morgan Road. The subjects were cautioned about the use of a laser.

– Seth Benner, 36, of Chillicothe, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when he struck a vehicle on U.S. Route 23 driven by Wesley Thompson, 19, of Waverly. No injuries were reported.

– Kyah Hill, 19, of Laurelville, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when she struck a vehicle on state Route 56 driven by a 17-year-old driver from Laurelville. Subjects were treated for injuries.

July 9

– A resident in the 6000 block of Hitler Road #2 reported telephone harassment.
