July 7

– An officer performed a well-being check on a subject reportedly living in a tent with his father in the area of Lowery Lane. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 400 block of Watt Street after a resident reported they returned home from vacation and found a male in the back yard who ran when he saw them. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– An anonymous caller reported a group of juveniles shooting off fireworks in the alley at the rear of the 300 block of East Ohio Street. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– A caller reported a very young juvenile female hiding behind a vehicle tire in the area of Mound and Brown streets. Officers located the juvenile, who was with her father. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of South Scioto Street reported a male was sleeping in front of the residence on cushions taken off the porch at her residence. The male was sent on his way and told not to return. A report was taken on a narcotics complaint.

– A resident in the 200 block of North Court Street reported items were stolen from her porch overnight.

– An employee at PICCA requested a well-being check on a subject who walked away from the office in the 400 block of East Ohio Street. Officer advised the subject was just upset about not having cigarettes, but then requested a medic for a female with an altered mental status. The subject refused treatment.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of Watt Street after a resident reported a theft.

– A resident in the 700 block of North Court Street came to the police station to report he was being harassed by his ex-girlfriend. A supplement was taken to an earlier report.

– A resident on McCulloch Avenue reported someone had broken into his residence while he was incarcerated, and the suspect was now causing problems. Officers determined it was a civil issue.

– Dispatch reported receiving a 911 hang-up call from an unknown location and phone number.

– A resident reported someone was walking up onto porches and stealing newspapers in the 700 block of North Court Street. Officers advised he threw a newspaper from the yard onto a porch. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of Nicholas Drive reported there was going to be a fight between her husband and another male because the male had showed her his buttocks. Officers determined the dispute was over a tree on the property that was making the sidewalk impassable. Both parties were advised to stay away from each other.

– A resident in the 200 block of East Mill Street called 911 to report a large dog, possibly a German Shepherd, was running loose in the neighborhood. The dog warden was advised.

– A resident in the 300 block of Long Street reported three teenage boys were on the back porch inhaling something but left when she called police. Information was obtained.

– An employee at PICCA reported a female subject needed to be taken to Berger for psychiatric evaluation. The female became aggressive at the hospital and struck an officer. An arrest was made.

– A resident in the 500 block of Gumm Place reported her vehicle was damaged overnight. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 500 block of Tower Court reported someone just tried to get into their home. The officer advised the males were peeking through windows, but they were unable to locate the subjects.

– A caller reported the intersection at East Franklin and South Pickaway streets was flooded. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 400 block of Watt Street reported her PlayStation was stolen.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 100 block of Pleasant Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 200 block of Clark Drive reported a gun was stolen. A supplemental report was taken.

– A caller reported a steel plate covering holes in the street was out of place on Ohio Street in front of the Ohio Market. The service department was contacted to move the plate back into place.

– A resident in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street reported his tractor was destroyed. A report was taken on vandalism.

– A caller reported a known female subject was waving a knife in front of people in the 400 block of Ruth Avenue. The female ran on foot from police but was detained at Good Shepherd Church on East Main Street and transported to Berger Hospital. An employee at Berger then reported she ran out of the emergency room, and Jessica Rolph was arrested for disorderly conduct.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street reported her son was out of control and had a screwdriver. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– A caller reported someone was setting off fireworks in the area of Logan Street and South Pickaway Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of North Pickaway Street. A report was taken.

July 8

– Neri Dewitt was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Evergreen Avenue.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Tootle’s on East Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller in the 800 block of South Washington Street reported hearing pounding on the side of her residence. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Ohio Street requested the fire department to check her mother’s carbon monoxide detector.

– Officers responded to an injury accident in the 400 block of East Main Street.

– Officers in West Virginia advised they had arrested Kyle Cockerham and were en route to the Pickaway County Jail.

– A caller advised a male subject was asking people for money at Speedway on North Court Street. Officers located the subject and advised him regarding panhandling.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of Clark Drive. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the alley near the 100 block of West Main Street.

– Officers responded to reports of an attempted suicide in the 100 block of Lowery Lane. The subject was transported to Berger Hospital.

– A caller reported a young female was riding her bike in the middle of the road and the parents were not around. The officer found the bike in a yard in the 600 block of Clinton Street and made contact with the parents, who were advised.

– An employee at Sunoco on West Main Street reported a male subject who was intoxicated and would not leave the business. The male was advised about soliciting.

– A caller reported a young male shooting off bottle rockets in the 300 block of Faye Avenue. The parents were advised, and the fireworks were taken away.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street reported someone broke into her home while she was in the process of moving. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 500 block of Nicholas Drive reported a group of people in Batman and Superman costumes were promoting their church camp, and the caller believed they did not have a solicitor’s permit. A permit was not found in dispatch. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A caller advised two young males were playing with a fire extinguisher in the rear of the Pickaway-Ross building on East Mound Street but left when she said she was going to call the police. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A caller reported a male was revving his truck engine in the 500 block of East Ohio Street and the smoke was coming into their apartment. The person was advised.

– A caller reported a male subject walked out of his house with a beer and got into a truck to drive toward the Marathon station on East Main Street. Officers made contact with the male while he was outside of his truck and transported him home.

– Officers responded to reports of a fight in the 300 block of Walnut Street. The officer advised it was a verbal altercation, and both subjects left prior to officer’s arrival.

– A resident in the 1400 block of Shagbark Drive reported his neighbor’s garage door was open. The scene checked OK.

– A caller advised he was with a woman who appeared confused in the Apple Ridge Apartments on Lancaster Pike. A medic was dispatched, and the woman’s daughter arrived on the scene. The subject checked OK.

– A caller reported a male subject had walked into a residence on Detroiter Avenue with an open door and had not come out. The scene checked OK.

– An employee from Wit’s End on West Main Street reported a disturbance involving a known male subject. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Scioto Street reported someone broke into his home and trashed it. A report was taken on burglary.

– A caller reported a known subject stole a cell phone and was running toward Lewis Avenue. Officers on the scene advised everything was OK, and the phone was returned.
