Faye Marie Rayburn, age 78, of South Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Mt. Carmel Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born April 4, 1937, in Greenup, Kentucky, daughter of the late Benjamin and Louise Hunt Robertson.
Faye attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royal Rayburn, in 2007; sister, Gurline Stephens; and an infant daughter, Shelia.
She is survived by her children, Armin (Rosie) Rayburn of Jackson, Roxanne Brown, Ernie (Angie) Rayburn and Ellen Havens, all of Ashville, and Ben Rayburn of West Carlisle; grandchildren, Jason, Jeremiah, Amy, Carrie, Lisa, Lori, Mat, Mandy, Jesse, Tiffany, Benjamin, Chad and Josh; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Tomczak, Emma Pence and Dolly Likens; brothers, Ralph (Pat) Robertson, Ray (Brenda) Robertson and Doug Robertson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W Main St., Ashville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Burial will follow in Harrison Twp. Cemetery, South Bloomfield.
