– Officers responded to an activated alarm at GFH in the 200 block of South Scioto Street. The alarm was canceled by the alarm company.

– A resident in the 800 block of Kingston Court came to the police station to report a known male came to her residence and destroyed her phone. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– An employee at Duke and Duchess requested an officer check a male subject who had not paid for any services but emptied the contents of his vehicle. The officer advised the male was looking for his wallet. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 400 block of Chatham Road reported someone had rummaged through his vehicle overnight and taken a small amount of cash.

– A resident in the 300 block of East Mill Street reported someone had damaged her son’s vehicle. A report was taken on criminal damage, and extra patrol was requested.

– A caller reported an audible alarm over the loud speakers at Carnival Foods on Morris Road. Dispatch made contact with the night manager, who advised the fire alarms were being tested. Information was obtained.

– A resident in the 900 block of South Court Street reported $700 was stolen from her vehicle overnight. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 400 block of East Main Street reported a residence had been burglarized. A report was taken.

– A caller reported someone had stolen jewelry from her vehicle in the 1200 block of North Court Street. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 300 block of Barnes Avenue reported a custody issue with her child’s father. She was advised it was a civil issue.

– A caller reported seeing a young male running through the area of Cellar Lumber near East Corwin and South Pickaway streets. When the male saw her, he told her he needed a ride badly, and the caller thought it was suspicious. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A 911 caller reported an injury accident north of the Ohio State Highway Patrol post on U.S. Route 23. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Scioto Valley Coffee on West Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported a low-lying utility line in her back yard. AEP was notified, and residents were advised to stay clear of the back yard until repairs were made.

– A caller reported a cat was stuck inside a vehicle on East Mound Street. A kitten was retrieved from the wheel well but appeared to be sick. The humane officer requested it be transported to North Court Animal Clinic, and the cat was delivered to the vet.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 500 block of South Scioto Street after a caller reported a female driving a small SUV had been seen in his yard numerous times.

– A resident in the 400 block of Ruth Avenue reported he was assaulted by a known male subject. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A resident in the 500 block of Chatham Court reported a female was pushing a stroller through the area placing sticky notes on cars telling people to move their vehicles. Her daughter was parked in the driveway, which meant she came onto her property to place the note on the car. Officers were unable to locate the female.

– A resident in the 1600 block of Atwater Avenue reported someone broke into her vehicle. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee at the Pour House on North Court Street reported a known male subject was asked to leave the business, but he continued to come back and was now refusing to leave. The subject left prior to the officer’s arrival.

– Officers impounded a vehicle for expired tags following a traffic stop at Hardee’s on West Main Street.

– Officers impounded a vehicle for expired tags following a traffic stop at Grand Buffet on Circleville Plaza Drive.

– A resident in the 200 block of Villa Drive reported several juveniles were harassing her children, and when she confronted their father about it, he made threats toward her husband and called her vulgar names. The officer made contact with the subject, and they advised they would keep their children away from the caller’s children.

– A caller reported a vehicle with her purse inside was stolen from the 300 block of East Main Street. A report was taken on theft.

– An officer performed a stand-by in the 200 block of North Washington Street for a subject to obtain property from the residence. The stand-by was terminated due to the female resident becoming belligerent. Both parties were advised to contact civil attorneys.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office requested the city’s canine unit to assist with a traffic stop at Tarlton Road and Jefferson Road. A report was taken on an agency assist.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Tim Hortons on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported they were trying to leave Peebles on U.S. Route 23, but there was a suspicious male standing outside who concerned them. The complainant then called back to report the subject was gone, and everything was OK. The call was canceled.

– A caller reported a male subject staggering in the middle of the roadway on Harrison Avenue near the railroad tracks. The male was transported to the 900 block of South Court Street and left in the care of his caregiver.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 500 block of North Pickaway Street after a caller reported two known subjects kept driving by her residence, yelling and trying to spit on her.

– A 911 caller reported several kids on a bicycle messing around with the railroad equipment on South Washington Street. The subjects left the area prior to the officer’s arrival. The equipment checked OK, and the caller advised he would call back if the juveniles returned.

– A deputy requested an officer meet him at the front gates of the Pickaway County Fairgrounds due to three female juveniles who were trying to get him to give them a ride home in his personal vehicle.

– A caller reported someone had moved all the cones from around the work site at the railroad tracks on South Pickaway Street and scattered them all over the roadway. The cones were replaced, as well as the speed trailer on South Pickaway Street.

– A resident in the 200 block of Villa Drive called 911 to report a known male subject caused a fight with her parents and struck her step-dad in the face. The subject left prior to the officer’s arrival. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.
