June 16

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Tootle’s on East Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– Bryan E. Martin was arrested in the area of Court and Water streets after a caller advised of a male passed out in the area. A report was taken on possession of drug paraphernalia.

– An employee at Speedway on Lancaster Pike reported a male subject went into the bathroom and had been there a long time. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A 911 caller reported he had a reservation at the Budget Host Inn on U.S. Route 23 and could get no service at the front desk. Contact was made with the manager, and service was provided to the caller.

– Officers advised they were checking two males in the parking lot at Burger King. The subjects checked OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Court Street reported a dirt bike had been stolen from the back of a truck overnight. A report was taken on a stolen vehicle, and the dirt bike was entered into the LEADS system.

– A 911 caller reported a home healthcare patient was not answering the door in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue. Circleville EMS was dispatched and handled the scene.

– A caller reported a utility line down at the entrance of Little Caesar’s to the rear of Scoops on Lancaster Pike. Frontier was notified of the telephone line down.

– Officers responded to reports of a vehicle sitting in the parking lot of Subway on Lancaster Pike for about two weeks. The owner was contacted and advised to move the vehicle.

– An employee at the Pickaway County Courthouse reported a female needed assistance getting her key to unlock her vehicle. No report was taken.

– A volunteer from the Circle Area Humane Society requested an officer stand-by as they checked on a dog in the 1200 block of Norfolk Avenue. The stand-by was completed.

– A resident in the 200 block of Edwards Road reported her credit card was used without her consent in Chillicothe. Information was obtained, and the caller was referred to the Chillicothe Police Department.

– An employee at PICCA requested an officer stand-by to check on a resident in the 500 block of Lincoln Heights who had not been seen for a few days. The officer requested a squad for a 62-year-old female who had been lying on the bathroom floor since Friday. She was transported to Berger Hospital for treatment.

– A 911 caller reported a known female was in the 300 block of Northridge Road and damaged a window trying to gain entry into a home. A report was taken on trespassing.

– An employee at WD Farms on Island Road reported someone stole the batteries from the semi trucks at the business. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident came to the police station to report someone had keyed her vehicle on Ridgewood Drive. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of West Main Street. The call was canceled by the alarm company.

– A caller reported a subject riding a dirt bike through Forest Cemetery near the railroad tracks. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Officers responded to reports of an injury accident in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue. The Circleville Fire Department, Harrison Township and Pickaway Township fire departments assisted at the scene.

– A caller reported a male subject in the 100 to 500 block of South Court Street cutting off vehicles, shouting and spitting at other drivers and then getting out of his vehicle at a traffic light and making verbal threats of violence. The license plate number was identified, and all units were advised.

– A resident came to the police station to report being threatened by a known male subject. The officer advised the offense occurred in the county, and the resident was referred to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– A property owner reported a former tenant in the 1200 block of Wheeler Avenue threatened to damage the residence, and she did not want him to retrieve his property there without an officer present. A report was taken on trespassing.

– A caller reported a vehicle with a 3 to 4-year-old juvenile unsecured in the front seat in the area of Fay and Lincoln. The caller then advised the vehicle dropped off the juvenile at a location and left the scene. The call was canceled.

– A resident came to the police station to report she had been threatened on Mound Street. A report was taken.

– A caller reported an ATV driving recklessly on Pickaway Street near Logan Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A caller reported finding a male lying in the roadway in the area of Hayward and Court streets. The caller agreed to care for the male in lieu of his arrest, as he was intoxicated and had fallen off his bike. No injuries were reported.

– A resident in the 300 block of Town Street reported he caught a dog running loose in the area, and it appears to have been abused. The dog warden arrived and took possession of the dog.

– Officers impounded a vehicle following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Mingo Street.

– A caller reported his vehicle had been struck the day before in the parking lot at Carnival Foods on Morris Road. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.

– A resident in the 300 block of Watt Street reported her ex-boyfriend was texting her and threatening to kill her. Both parties were advised to have no further contact. A report was taken on harassment.

– Russell M. Burris was arrested in the 200 block of Villa Drive after a caller reported finding a dirt bike previously reported as stolen at that location.

June 17

– Samantha J. Curtis was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 100 block of West High Street.

– A resident came to the police station to report a neighbor in the 100 block of Barry Drive was banging on the doors and windows of his residence. Both parties were advised to stay away from each other, and a report was taken on a neighbor dispute.

– Gerald F. Jackson Jr. was arrested for assault at Speedway on Lancaster Pike.

– Jevan Stewart was arrested for criminal damage after a 911 caller reported three male subjects in the alley at the rear of the 300 block of East Franklin Street had damaged a vehicle by throwing rocks at it.

– An employee at Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center reported his company vehicle was struck in the parking lot at 176 Rustic Drive, but they exchanged information and the other subject had already left the scene. The caller was advised if a report was necessary, arrangements would be made for both parties to meet at the police station for a report.

– A caller reported an air compressor and air brush gun had been stolen from Everts Middle School within the last week of school. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee from Constance Care on North Court Street reported a suspicious male had entered the business inquiring about services for himself and then left. Information was obtained.

– A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported his truck was damaged, and he believed it was struck by another vehicle. Officers were unable to determine if the damage was actually the result of a hit-skip. A miscellaneous report was taken.

– A resident came to the police station to report her sister and her boyfriend were constantly harassing their mother. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 400 block of East Mound Street reported her son’s bicycle was stolen overnight. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller requested an officer stand-by to retrieve some property from his former residence in the 1200 block of Wheeler Avenue.

– An employee of the Pickaway County Health Department requested an officer stand-by as nuisance letters were delivered in the 1000 block of Sunshine Street and the 400 block of Watt Street.

– A Clarksburg resident came to the police station to turn in a credit card she found in the 200 block of East Main Street. A report was taken on found property.

– A caller reported a male subject trying to break into cars in the 400 block of West High Street. Officers were unable to locate the subject, and no theft or damage was reported. Extra patrol was requested.

– Jacob Conner was arrested on a warrant for theft and a probation violation after an employee at Fifth-Third Bank reported a male was in the bank trying to cash a stolen check. A report also was taken for receiving stolen property.

– Kaleb Lintz was arrested for a probation violation in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike. Shanda Lintz also was arrested on a warrant from Upper Arlington for misuse of credit cards and receiving stolen property. She was transported to Scioto Downs for transfer of custody to the Upper Arlington Police Department.

– An employee at Berger Hospital reported an intoxicated patient walked away from the hospital and was walking down the middle of the road. Officers located the subject and transported him to a family member’s home.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 100 block of East Franklin Street. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a trash-burning complaint in the 100 block of West Union Street.

– Michael McDonald was arrested for OVI in the area of the Savings Bank on Pinckney Street.

– Dispatchers received two 911 calls with no information or voice contact. Information was obtained.

– A resident in the 100 block of Villa Drive reported she was being harassed by her neighbors. Information was obtained.

– A resident in the 400 block of Half Avenue came to the police station and requested officers contact a known male subject and advise him to have no further contact. The subject was advised by phone.

– The Ohio State Highway Patrol advised of a possible drunk driver southbound on North Court Street from U.S. Route 23. The subject was located and checked OK.

– A resident in the 500 block of Springhollow Road reported a neighbor was yelling for help, and she heard a lot of banging from across the street. Officers advised the female was yelling for help due to her dog getting loose. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 500 block of Springhollow Road reported she was having a verbal disagreement with her husband over his medical care. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

June 18

– Thomas D. Cook was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and felony possession of narcotics in the 200 block of East Mill Street after a 911 caller reported he was refusing to leave the residence and was outside beating on the front door.

– A park ranger requested assistance in the 100 block of Pinckney Street locating the parents of a juvenile subject he located at the park with some subjects who had possession of narcotics. Contact was made with the juvenile’s parents, and the park officer handled the incident.

– A caller reported he was approached by juveniles asking him for cigarettes in the 700 block of South Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A caller reported vehicles in the parking lot in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue had been ransacked overnight. Extra patrol was requested.

– A resident came to the police station to report his ex-girlfriend would not stop harassing him through email and his work phone. The officer agreed to contact the female and advise her to cease contact.

– Patrick Rollins of Chillicothe was arrested at Circleville Municipal Court after the bailiff reported a disorderly person in the courtroom.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a cell phone he found in the area of Dollar Tree on Circleville Plaza.

– A resident on Turner Drive reported a female subject harassing her when she visits her brother on Williams Drive. A report was taken on disorderly conduct, and both parties were advised to stay away from each other.

– A resident in the 900 block of South Washington Street reported information about the theft of medication. A report was taken.

– An employee at Brown Memorial requested officers to assist with transporting a male subject to the hospital who was giving drivers a hard time. The officer followed the ambulance to the hospital, and a report was taken.

– A caller reported damage had been done to the playground at Trinity Lutheran Church on East Mound Street. A report was taken on vandalism.

– A caller reported theft of medication from one of their clients in the 400 block of Ruth Avenue. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call from the Veterans Service Office on West Main Street. The call was accidental, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a male subject had been assaulted, and a squad was requested at CVS on East Main Street. The subject was transported to the hospital, and a report was taken on assault.

– An employee at Carnival Foods advised they asked four juveniles to leave who were found skateboarding on the property, but the juveniles were causing a disturbance. The officer advised the juveniles to move along.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at Subway on North Court Street.

– Officers responded to reports of two motorcyclists driving recklessly eastbound on U.S. Route 22. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A 911 caller reported a large pickup truck with New York tags on West Main Street in which a female got out and hit her window. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A resident in the 100 block of Hayes Court reported a verbal fight and threats. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A resident in the 100 block of Lowery Lane reported a male slumped over the steering wheel in a vehicle, but when the caller approached the vehicle, the male took off at a high rate of speed, nearly striking a truck head on. Officers were advised to be on the lookout for the vehicle.

– A 911 caller reported a large tree had fallen into the power lines and across the roadway in the 100 block of Pleasant Street. The fire department was dispatched, and AEP was notified.

– A 911 caller reported a tree was down across the roadway on South Scioto Street just north of East Mill. The service department was advised.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle at UDF on East Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 600 block of East Mound Street reported a tree had fallen on the power lines behind her house, and the lines were smoking. The fire department was dispatched, and AEP was notified.

– A caller reported a tree had fallen across the roadway on Stoutsville Pike near the bridge. Officers were able to remove it from the roadway.

– Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at Berger Hospital. The fire department checked the scene and advised it was a smoke alarm malfunction. The scene checked OK.

– A juvenile came to the police station to report his sister had kicked him out three days before and he had no way to get home to Chillicothe. His parents were contacted, and his mother came to pick him up. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– A 911 caller reported someone was outside her house in the 500 block of Tower Court. The subject left out the back of the residence upon officers’ arrival. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.
