The Pickaway County Farmers Market is now in its third week of the season and is welcoming more and more vendors as the summer progresses.

This week’s attractions include giant pumpkin grower Cecil Weston, and the Circleville Junior Women’s Club will be helping children plant a pumpkin seed to grow at home.

Vendors will include Elder Forest, Nate’s Baked Greats, Rhoads Farm Market, New Century CSA, Papa Duck kettle corn, Avon, Thirty One, Sara Bee honey, Origami Owl, Blossoms of the Bend, Pampered Chef, Scioto Blooms and Beth Cline baked goods.

The Pickaway County Master Gardener Volunteers also will help educate the public on the importance of horticulture and the many issues surrounding it, and Historic Circleville in Pictures books will be available for purchase.

The Pickaway County Farmers Market is held in the city parking lot at 120 E. Franklin St. from 8:30 a.m. to noon each Saturday through Sept. 12. A different activity will be offered for children each weekend, along with various events with other community organizations.
